Sculpted in an air-drying clay over a polymer clay armature, the quail has been painted in gouache, inked with a deep and rich back ink, then varnished for protection. The bird was then mounted on a copper abstracted tree, that was also painted with gouache and varnished. Finally, each bird was then topped off with an adorable curled feather on its head.
I have 5 of these guys in stock. THere are very tiny differences in each because of the handmade nature of things, but they weren’t enough to take 5 differnt photos. So this image may not be the exact one you get, but it’s so close, you likely won’t be able to notice the difference.
